A10 Networks mandates bank to seek buyer for company, to replace CEO

A10 Networks has announced the appointment of a hedge-fund manager to its board and said it has mandated Bank of America Merrill Lynch to advise the company on a potential sale or change of control. The company's lead independent director will be replaced by a nominee chosen by VIEX Capital Advisors. In addition, A10 said that chief executive Lee Chen will retire and is expected to be replaced during the third quarter.
