Abertis, Indra, IBM vie for Barcelona smart city contract

A total of eight companies have been pre-selected for the final phase of a EUR 2 million annual contract to provide a smart city system to monitor all of Barcelona's public resources. Spanish daily Cinco Dias reports that Abertis Telecom, Accenture, T-Systems, Cofely, Capgemini, Schneider, IBM and Indra will compete for the Barcelona City OS tender to be published in January.
