ACCC to look into Telstra's backhaul pricing

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) plans to begin an inquiry into prices charged by Telstra for backhaul services. Rival operators, including iiNet, Vodafone, and Macquarie Telecom, had called on the government and the ACCC to to promote infrastructure sharing in regional and remote Australia with a new policy and also urged a review of backhaul pricing to ensure consumer prices could be lowered, The Australian reports.
