Accenture, Atos, Safran awarded EU visa system contract

The European Agency for the operational management of large-scale IT systems in the area of freedom, security and justice (eu-LISA) has awarded a contract to enhance the EU visa information and biometric matching system to a consortium including Accenture, Atos and Safran. The project is designed to facilitate the fast and secure processing of visa applications by third country nationals requiring visas to enter the Schengen area, with the Accenture-Safran-Atos consortium helping eu-LISA deliver new digital services to its customers around the world.
