ACE cable lands in Liberia

The Cable Consortium of Liberia (CCL) said that the Africa Coast to Europe (ACE) submarine cable has landed in Monrovia, The Analyst reported online. The ACE submarine cable system will stretch from France to South Africa, connecting most countries along the west coast of Africa, providing broadband connectivity to global telecommunications networks. The system is due for completion by mid to late 2012 when it will be 17,000 kilometres in length.
