Acer targets double-digit growth in Saudi Arabia

Acer is targeting double-digit growth in Saudi Arabia this year on the back of steady increase in demand for its new range of touch devices, the company said. It has signed a new distribution partner in BDL, which has operations across the GCC and Egypt, Tradearabia reported. The Saudi IT market is expected to grow from USD 3.8 billion in 2011 to USD 5.4 billion by 2017, according to Business Monitor International. Acer is keen to capitalise on this growth, and the company's new vice president for Middle East and Africa, David Drummond, remains positive that Acer can help the kingdom meet its
