Adapt IT CEO takes 3-month leave of absence after allegations

South African company Adapt IT said CEO Sibusiso Shabalala has been granted a leave of absence for three months by its board "in order to attend to personal matters". Tiffany Dunsdon, chief commercial officer, will become interim CEO during the period that Shabalala is on leave. According to news portal MoneyWeb, Shabalala has said that serious allegations levelled against him in a newspaper report on 09 May are "without merit" and that the best way to deal with them is "through the judicial system".
