Adtran revenues slip to USD 144 mln in Q4

Networking equipment provider Adtran reported fourth quarter results, showing revenues falling to USD 144 million from 159.0 million the year before. The net profit slid to 9.3 million from 11.8 millon while diluted earnings per share went lower to USD 0.17. CEO Tom Stanton said most segments met or slightly exceeded expectations. The CEO is positive for this year, saying the company's geographic presence, market share gains and new product introductions position it well for the future. Adtran declared a cash dividend for Q4 of USD 0.09 per share.
