Adtran to demo 212MHz, cDTA at G.fast Summit 2017

Thursday 11 May 2017 | 09:48 CET | News
Adtran will conduct the first public demonstration of the ITU-T's two most recent G.fast advancements, 212MHz and coordinated dynamic time allocation (cDTA), at the G.fast Summit 2017 in Paris, France, 9th-11th May, 2017. These advances enable the delivery of symmetric Gigabit services over a single copper pair, mitigating the need to bond multiple pairs of copper, Adtran said. Service providers can use a single technology to extend business-class Gigabit speeds over existing wiring, the company said.
