Adtran's FDV technology enables G.fast, VDSL2 on same line

US networking and communications equipment provider Adtran has announced a new patent-pending technology called Frequency Division Vectoring (FDV) that enhances the capabilities of G.fast and VDSL2 vectoring by allowing them to work in tandem across a single subscriber line. FDV expands the addressable market for G.fast by broadening its applicability from Fibre-to-the-Building (FTTB) and Fibre-to-the-distribution points (FTTdp) out to existing street cabinet sites. It enables service providers to take advantage of the maximum G.fast performance without the expense of transitioning an entire
