Adva to license Xtera's Raman

Xtera has been developing its proprietary Raman amplification since 1998 and successfully deployed its technology in both on-land and underwater applications. The company said it recently launched an undersea amplifier which offers the highest bandwidth in the industry at up to 40 Tbps on a single fibre pair.
