Aero2 picks Huawei for LTE TDD/FDD network

Polish operator Aero2 has signed an agreement with Huawei to deploy a convergent commercial network using LTE TDD/FDD technology. The network will be based on the Huawei SingleRAN LTE product. The network will enable it to offer subscribers up to 134 Mbps download capacity and up to 124.8 Mbps data transmission capacity. Aero2 plans to cover an area comprising 25 percent of the country's population by the end of 2012. LTE TDD/FDD services will be offered in over 200 towns and cities by then.
