Aerohive introduces Atom AP30 pluggable access point

Aerohive Networks announced what it calls the industry's first pluggable, enterprise-class Wi-Fi access point, the Aerohive Atom AP30. The device is designed to augment or replace ceiling-mounted access points and to simplify providing connectivity in both easy and hard-to-reach locations. Aerohive Atom AP30 is a new way to Wi-Fi and a first of its kind for the enterprise, delivering an enterprise-class 802.11ac access point with integrated Bluetooth in a new compact, pluggable form factor, the company said in a press release.
