Affirmed Networks to deploy NFV platform for Aire Networks

Affirmed Networks has announced a contract to provide Spain-based mobile network provider Aire Networks with a Virtual Evolved Packet Core (vEPC) platform with a view to virtualising the operator's mobile network. The contract is Affirmed Networks' third customer deployment in Spain and will see the company deploy its Mobile Content Cloud platform to allow Aire Networks to virtualise its mobile infrastructure, thus reducing overall network costs and offering its customers more flexible services, while also opening new revenue streams for the company.
