Africa multi-cloud service uptake continues to rise

Organisations in sub-Saharan Africa are increasingly using multiple cloud deployments for digital modernisation, according to the World Wide Worx new 'Cloud in Africa 2020' report, which surveyed technology decision-makers in South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Botswana and Malawi. It found that 33 percent of organisations currently have between two and ten cloud providers. Sixty-nine percent of respondents also claim to have multiple enterprise agreements with cloud providers.
