African Union, Nepad, others adopt ICT strategy up to 2024

A multi-agency grouping including the Africa Union has adopted the Continental ICT Strategy for Africa (CISA), for development up to 2024, CommsMEA reported. The strategy was adopted at the fifth meeting of the heads of the ICT Units at the African Union Commission (AUC), the New Partnership for Africa Development (NEPAD), Regional Economic Communities (RECs) and Associations of Regulators on Harmonisation and Coordination of Regional and Continental ICT Programmes, Projects and Activities
