Africell invited to bid for fourth telecom licence in Angola

Lebanese company Africell has been selected by the Angolan government to present a bid for licence to become the country's fourth telecommunications operator, reports Lusa. According to the Interministerial Working Group, three companies showed interest in bidding: MTN of South Africa, Africell Holding of Lebanon and BAI Investments of Angola, but only the Lebanese company formalized the bid.
