Africell seeks network suppliers for DRC roll-out

Mobile operator Africell, a subsidiary of Lintel, announced that it will start the bidding process with vendors to roll out its network in Congo (DRC). The company said it was ready to roll out with 9 MHz on the 1800MHz band and 4 MHz on the 900MHz band. This move came following the final acquisition of extra frequencies by its subsidiary Africell RDC. This final frequency extension was formalized last September following the payment and final authorization by the ministry and the regulator.
