Africell to start operations in Angola in H2 2021

Angola's fourth telecommunications operator, Africell, will start operations in the second half of 2021, according to Leonel Augusto, chairman of the board of the Angolan Communications Institute (Inacom), reports Jornal de Angola. He also said that the macroeconomic situation had caused operators to begin updating the prices of some services, pointing to exchange devaluation as a factor, since 80 percent of payments for services are made outside the country.
