Afrostream to launch SVoD service this autumn

French film streaming company Afrostream plans to launch its SVoD service this autumn in France, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Senegal and Cote d'Ivoire, reports Les Echos. The service will cost EUR 6.99 a month with 700 hours of content at launch, although the contract negotiated with copyright holders covers about 10,000 films. The platform will offer African, African American and African Caribbean movies and documentaries. The service will launched in the UK and several English-speaking African countries next year, and could be extended to Brazil. So far 2,000 people have signed up for
