Afrotainment launches Yebo OTT music video service

South African TV group Afrotainment has launched the Yebo OTT music video VoD app offering a catalogue of African music clips, Balancing Act reports. Afrotainment leads the US and Canadian markets for African channels, according to Balancing Act, which writes that Yebo is one of three new African content VoD platforms launched this summer.  Afrotainment, which is in talks with other platforms, feels that it is well positioned to monetise the passion for African music videos in the North American market. Balancing Act cites research from Sandvine which found that only about 6 percent of
