AGCM consults on Italian football rights

Italian competition regulator AGCM announced a public consultation over the sale of audiovisual rights to Serie A league football matches for the three seasons commencing in autumn 2018. According to Italian press reports the league hopes to raise more money for the rights by opening them up to telecoms companies and OTT providers as well as traditional broadcasters.
