Airbus supports Swedish-Norwegian Tetra exercise

Friday 18 November 2016 | 12:48 CET | News
Airbus Defence and Space said it supported an exercise on 16 November by Swedish network Rakel and Norway's Nodnett as part of their long-term, cross-border communications. Public safety organisations such as police forces and ambulance services of both countries congregated in the towns Meraker in Norway and Storlien in Sweden in order to test the interoperable system on the Rakel and Nodnett networks. Airbus said this marks the launch of the world's first bi-national communications system.
