Airtel Kenya raises Q3 mobile internet market share to 18.5%

Airtel Kenya's 'UnimiNET' bundled tariff for voice, data and SMS services has helped to lift its number of mobile internet subscribers by more than 1 million in three months to March, Business Daily reported. The latest data from the Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) says Airtel expanded its mobile internet market share to 18.5 percent in the third quarter to March from 14.6 percent. Airtel Kenya CEO Adil El Youssefi said that the growth may be attributed to the UnlimiNET product.
