Airtel launches Wi-Fi Calling service in India

Indian mobile operator Airtel has launched its voice over Wi-Fi service dubbed 'Airtel Wi-Fi Calling'. Airtel says its Wi-Fi Calling service is designed to enhance voice calling services for Airtel smartphone customers, especially in indoor areas. There will be no extra charge for calls made over the Wi-Fi Calling service, Airtel added. The service is currently available in Delhi NCR and will be gradually expanded across India.
