Airtel Malawi hands over school blocks to the blind

Airtel Malawi has handed over two school blocks to Salima Primary School for the blind. The school is one of the adopted learning institutions by the company in the country. Airtel Malawi human resources director Bridget Jumbe said the aim is to partner with the government in raising the standards of education in the country. Among other things, the company presented a second classroom block, 120 desks and chairs, ten second-hand computers, an Airtel broadband connection (Office in a Box), 21 bath towels for the Resource Centre Hostel, school uniforms and Best Performance Awards to students
