Airtel Malawi pledges to fix network challenges during upgrades

Airtel Malawi says its taking steps to address challenges facing its network since the start of its upgrade works, as customers contend with intermittent call drops, silent calls as well as slower speed of the internet in some pockets of the cities, reports Nyasatimes. Airtel Malawi initially set out to implement the network upgrade exercise from May to August starting with the cities of Mzuzu, Lilongwe and Blantyre before proceeding to the rest of the country. So far 290 sites have been upgraded in the three cities.
