Airtel swaps heads of subsidiaries in DRC, Gabon

Mobile operator Bharti Airtel has appointed the managing director of Airtel Gabon, Louis Lubala, as the head of its subsidiary in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Airtel Congo. Lubala succeeds Antoine Pamboro, who has been named as the managing director of Airtel Gabon after five and half years at Airtel Congo. Prior to his term as the head of Airtel Gabon, Lubala was the managing director of Airtel Niger for two years and marketing director of Airtel Zambia for two years. Pamboro joined Airtel from MTN in 2004.
