Airtel to offer bKash m-payment services

Bangladeshi mobile operator Airtel will shortly launch bKash mobile wallet services. With the agreement between the two companies, Airtel subscribers will be able to open a bKash account, send or receive money, store money, make payments, and more. Standard bKash service charges will apply. bKash is a subsidiary of BRAC Bank and has more than 28,000 agents across the country. Separately, bKash also announced that it has signed an agreement with Souteast Bank for disbursement of remittance services.
