Airtel Uganda provides free farming info in 6 languages

Airtel Uganda and Human Network International (HNI) have launched the 1-6-1 Service to provide free, on-demand information to farming communities across the country, reports Daily Observer. It will supply a free public service information to farmers via mobile phones in five local languages and also in English. The 1-6-1 services will be support farmers who grow five selected crops, namely maize, beans, bananas, Irish potatoes and rice.
