Thai operator AIS has launched the 'AIS Next G' network and mobile data services. Based on Multipath TCP technology, AIS Next G is an integration of the AIS 4G advanced and AIS Super WiFi frequencies. Developed in partnership with Korean operator KT, the Multipath TCP technology integrates the internet speeds of the mobile phone and Wi-Fi networks, allowing customers to access internet access of up to 1 Gbps where LTE and Wi-Fi networks are available in the same area.
