AIS, Siam Commercial Bank launch financial services joint venture

Advanced Info Service (AIS) has signed a joint venture agreement with the Siam Commercial Bank (SCB). AIS also reports it has incorporated a new joint venture company with SCB under the name AISCB, with a capital of THB 600 million divided to 6 million shares at THB 100 per share. The joint venture hold 50:50 in equity by AIS and SCB with the investment value of THB 300 million from each of the two partners. AIS also reports that the objective of AISCB is to provide digital lending via an online platform to enhance access to financial services.
