AIS to launch trial on TOT's 2.1 GHz spectrum

Thai operator TOT has permitted its former concession holder Advanced Info Service (AIS) to provide a trial service on TOT's 2.1 GHz spectrum band, The Nation reports. AIS and Total Access Communication (Dtac) have also reached an agreement to allow AIS' 2G subscribers to roam on Dtac's 1800MHz spectrum band.
