Akta invests EUR 17 mln in network expansion

Romanian operator Akta, which operates under the brand Akta through Digital Cable Systems (DCS) and Akta Telecom, will invest EUR 17 million in network expansion in 2017 as well as in the launch of a MVNO and a TV channel which will broadcast exclusively Romanian films, writes local paper Ziarul Financiar citing CEO Dinu Malacopol. The company will offer mobile postpaid subscriptions through bundles that include its existing services from the end of H1. Malacopol said it invests EUR 1 million in its new 'CineMaraton' TV channel.
