Akta revenues up 13% to RON 226 mln in 2015

Romanian group Akta, representing cable companies Digital Cable Systems (DCS) and Akta Telecom, reported revenues up 13.4 percent year-on-year to RON 226.13 million in 2015, writes local paper Ziarul Financiar citing data from the Ministry of public finances. DCS, the largest company in the group, reported a turnover of RON 172.2 million, down 3 percent year-on-year. Group net loss was RON 12 million, compared to net loss of RON 9 million in 2014. The majority owner of the group is American-Asian fund Pinebridge which holds a 63 percent stake. The operator closed 2015 with 1,837 employees
