Akta Telecom hikes social capital with RON 6.7 mln

Romanian operator Akta Telecom's shareholders increased the company's social capital by RON 6.7 million, writes local paper Ziarul Financiar citing data from the country's trade register. Akta, a cable TV company that operates through the Digital Cable Systems (DCS) and Akta Telecom companies, is controlled by American-Asian investment fund PineBridge. The fund owns about 65 percent of the group's shares. Akta recorded a turnover of RON 199.5 million in 2014, up 17 percent over the previous year.
