Akta's turnover down 2% to RON 225 mln in 2018

Romanian cable TV operator Akta saw its turnover decrease 2 percent year-on-year in 2018 to RON 225.2 million, according to local paper Ziarul Financiar citing data available on the website of the Ministry of Public Finance. The turnover includes sales from the group's units Digital Cable Systems (DCS) and Akta Telecom. Net losses widened by 65 percent year-on-year to RON 25.5 million. At 31 December 2018, Akta's total debts amounted to RON 163.9 million, higher by 8 percent compared to 2017. Akta is primarily active in rural and small urban areas where it has over 0.5 million subscriptions
