Alaska Communications shareholders approve acquisition by ATN

Alaska Communications said that its shareholders have voted in favour of its acquisition by ATN for USD 332 million. The merger, still subject to a number of regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions, is expected to close in the third quarter of this year.
