Albtelecom CEO rejects rumours of sale to Deutsche Telekom

Albtelecom CEO Erkan Tabak has denied rumours the Albanian operator may be up for sale to Deutsche Telekom. In an interview with Monitor magazine, published on the operator's website, he said there was nothing true to the rumours. He also said that Albtelecom's core business performed well in 2014 and the operator plans to invest EUR 50 million in 2015-2016. The IPTV service launched in April was received well and will be expanded further this year, and the mobile prepaid and retail business also had an excellent performance, according to the CEO.
