Alcatel becomes fifth-best selling smartphone brand in US in Q4

The top five smartphone brands accounted for 89 percent of the US market in the final quarter of 2019, down from 91 percent in Q4 2018, according to the NPD Group's Mobile Phone Tracking report. Alcatel ended the year in fifth position, up from sixth at the start of 2019 as it benefited from ZTE's struggles, said NPD.
