Alcatel-Lucent has no plans to exit mobile market - CEO
Alcatel-Lucent has no plans to withdraw from the mobile communications equipment market, CEO Ben Verwaayen said at a company presentation in Paris, reports Reuters. Verwaayen was responding to suggestions from investors that the company should sell its troubled mobile division. The company is expected to outline a major strategic review of its operations, including cost-reduction measures, on 12 December.
