Algar Telecom accepted as interested party in Claro-Vivo RAN sharing deal

Brazil's Administrative Council for Economic Defense (Cade) approved Algar Telecom's participation as a third interested party in the ongoing analysis of the proposed RAN sharing agreement between operators Claro and Vivo, reports Telesintese. The agreement involves 81 mobile base stations and will see Telefonica Brasil's mobile unit sharing its access network and frequency spectrum with Claro for financial compensation.
