Algar Telecom, PromonLogicalis develop smart city platform

Brazilian regional operator Algar Telecom has partnered with PromonLogicalis to implement technology for intelligent cities in the first planned neighbourhood in the city of Uberlandia (state of Minas Gerais) - Granja Marileusa. The initiative is part Algar Telecom's "Connected City" project to provide solutions that solve day-to-day problems of cities, improving people's lives through technology. The project includes intelligent lighting fixtures, light sensors, connected manholes, environmental sensors (temperature and humidity), smart dumps and a control platform for IoT sensors. The
