Algerian govt clears 4G tender invitation for incumbents

The Council of Ministers has authorised the invitation of tenders for the introduction of 4G mobile telephony (4G), Algerie Presse Service reported. This invitation will be open to the three incumbent mobile carriers who already have infrastructure deployed. The winner or winners will deploy the LTE services gradually across the country, and will cover of the entire territory within a maximum of four years.
