Algerian operators pass first stage of LTE licensing process

Algeria's three mobile operators, Mobilis, Djezzy and Ooredoo, have passed the first stage of the 4G licensing process as telecom regulator ARPT found their tender documents admissible, reports Agence Ecofin. The president of the LTE licensing committee, Salah Mahgoun, said the licences would be awarded publicly on 23 May.
