Alliance Telecom upgrades TV services

Russian ISP Alliance Telecom, working in the Primorye region, has upgraded its pay-TV services, with 20 channels switched from the Mpeg-2 to Mpeg-4 standard. The list includes Russian public TV channels.

The modification is related to the switch to the Mpeg-4 format by the federal TV re-transmission operator RTRS.
