Almost 500 operators deploy LTE networks in 150 countries

497 network operators have made firm commitments to deploy LTE networks in 150 countries, according to a report from the Global mobile Suppliers Association (GSA). 288 LTE networks have been commercially launched in 104 countries. The report further shows that most LTE operators have deployed the FDD mode of the standard. The most widely used spectrum in network deployments continues to be 1800 MHz (3GPP band 3) which is used in 43 percent of deployments.
