Almost half German households keep old computers at home - survey

Almost half of German households (43%) hold at least one old PC or laptop at home, an increase from 36 percent in 2014, according to a survey of German digital association Bitkom. Among those still holding on to an old computer, an average 1.8 old PCs or notebooks are kept, up from 1.3 in 2014.
