Almost one in three Germans use fitness trackers

Many German consumers see risks in using wearables, according to a survey conducted by YouGov on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection. Nearly a third (32%) of the respondents are worried about false readings, 31 percent about false health advice and 39 percent consider the use of their data by third parties a problem. Only 28 percent had no concerns.
