Almost two-thirds of internet users in Germany were victim of a cybercrime this year - Bitkom

Six out of ten internet users (61%) in Germany were victim of cybercrime this year, an increase of 6 percentage points from the 55 percent recorded the year before, according to a survey by digital association Bitkom. The most common cyber attacks were carried out through malware on the smartphone or computer. Almost half (48%) of the online users were affected. About 17 percent of the respondents stated that their access data to online services was spied, for example to access social networks or online shopping.
